Ingredients

    1cl 1883 Warm Spices Syrup

    5cl Rye whiskey

    1 Dash(es) Absinthe

    1 Dash(es) Peychaud’s bitter

     

    Garnishes : Orange zest

preparation

    1. Pour a dash of absinthe over ice in an Old-fashioned glass, stir to perfume and cool down the glass, then empty it.
    2. Press the sugar soaked in Peychaud’s Bitters in a mixing glass and fill with ice cubes.
    3. Pour the syrup and the Rye Whiskey and stir for twenty seconds with a mixing spoon.
    4. Pour in the Old-fashioned glass.
    5. Squeeze and twist an orange zest over it. Garnish with another orange zest.
