Saffron Crusta

  • 1cl 1883 Saffron syrup
  • 4cl Saffron Gin
  • 2cl Maraschino Liquor
  • 2cl lemon juice
  • 2 dashes cardamon Bitter

A flowered twist of the famous Crusta cocktail from the New Orleans.


Rim a whole wine glass with white sugar, saffron syrup and flowers petals. Pour all the ingredients in a small shaker tin. Fill of ice and shake hard for 10 seconds. Strain in the rimmed glass on crushed ice.
Garnish with a whole lemon peel, with saffron threads, with cardamom and with a maraschino cherry.
